Good news, everyone! I've put together a site this year for my Month of Monsters project. Registration is open if anyone feels like participating. What is Month of Monsters? Back in October of 2012, I decided it might be fun to draw a monster a day for the entire month. I had previously done similar challenges with NaNoWriMo and The 30 Characters Challenge – both of which are in November. Given my love for monstrous characters and silly monstrosities, I figured I'd give it a try. Did I succeed? Yup. I did. And it was great. I had so much fun doing it I decided to make it a public challenge. Come check out all the monsters!

At the beginning of the month, singer-songwriter extraordinaire, John Anealio, announced a bold self-challenge wherein he is planning on creating 23 new songs this year. As writing and composing a song is on my things-I-want-to-do-in-this-lifetime list, seeing someone do one, let alone 23 in a year, is inspiring to say the least. I wish him luck in this endeavor. Because some evil part of me likes a good challenge, I've decided to jump on the spacewagon and join his effort. Good news everyone! I'm available for custom commissions this holiday season. Each commission is $30,  5″ x 7″, illustrated in pen and watercolor on Bristol cardstock. Black and white or grey-scale also available upon request (please include this in the commission details below if you don't want full color). Please avoid excessive details and backgrounds in your request for best results.  If you'd like something larger or smaller or just want to throw ideas around, contact me. Artist choice is also an option if you don't have anything specific in mind. I'll need orders in by Dec. 9th for art to arrive before Christmas. Thanks!
